Who am I ? I am the rose that grew through concrete. I am a survivor of the cruel streets . I am someone who has shattered statistics, broken the curse, lived through death. I am a warrior who triumphed over my enemies, I beat the odds, I walked through darkness, only to find the light. I've engaged in a battle that's been raging since the beginning of time. I've overcome my past, my pain and my struggles. I should've died, overdosed, I should've stayed in the streets, fulfilled statistics, stayed hooked on drugs, became what they said I would be.. nothing. But I became something. He had a plan, a future, a destiny that He placed inside of me since the creation of the world. No bullet could stop it, no drug could sedate it, no person could steal it, no demon could hinder it, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in this world.. All I need is one mic, one stage, one soul to speak to. One chance to lead the wild into the way. My music is reality, not entertainment. So when the music stops, you will still hear gods voice thru my music. The trends will die, the images pass, but His word will continue through the corridor of your mind and soul. It pierces and divides, it rips through lies. It brings men to their knees, the proud resist it, but the humble receive it. Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a junkie like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found was blind but now I see. |
I want to be known for more than just rap music. I want to be known for my compassion for people, my passion to serve, and my dedication to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God with boldness . I want to leave to my kids, the legacy of knowing what it means to live devoted to others and not to self, a life of giving the love of JESUS freely, without expectations of receiving something in return. I want my kids to be able to look back and say " My dad showed us right from wrong, and he was the example we needed to see. He showed us how to love people the way JESUS would and to never take the blessing of God for granted." I am a leader by heart, but not afraid to let others lead . To me thats what makes a good leader !! I thank God for his hand of provision over my life .It's time that people realize that God has ordained a new generation of believers who do not have a theology degree or seminary education, simply ordinary men and women with two things in common, a heart that is sold out and a will that has been surrendered to the will of the Father .
